This applies to EVERYONE: I started this thing to put down how I feel about things at a certain time. When I want to talk, but feel like I can't. It's really just that simple. If you don't like it, I'm sorry. I'm not out to make anyone feel like they're being put down. If you feel that way, there must be some truth in what I'm saying.

Song of the Day: "Nightmare" - Dry Kill Logic

Well, goddamn. I didn't know guys. I'm sorry for the absence.

I really don't like my Maxtor drive.

I tried posting last week, but Blogger was down for updates.

Anyway, what's new with me, you ask? I have an answer for you. Not much. Since the beginning of the yaer, I've been busy with work. I got back from a week in Indiana on Sunday night, and leave for Peoria today. Ah, the life of a man with no life.

I guess I shouldn't say that. Last night, Amanda and I watched "Crank". It was okay. It wasn't quite what I thought it was going to be, but it had it's moments. All I know is that "Pedro" from Napolean Dynamite was in it, and the role cast to him was most fitting. Amy Smart played a big fucking idiot though.

I've been playing a lot of 360 as well (no suprise there, huh?).

Damnit, I got distracted. I gotta go guys. I'll try for more the next time I come around.

Song of the Day: "Trogdor" - Strongbad

A quickie for all.

I've been keeping myself busy on 360, NOT BREAKING my t.v. Of all the things, the Wii is gonna help the t.v. manufacturing industry become more profitable than before.

I'm leaving for Oregon in a couple hours. I come back on the 14th, and it's gonna be real freaking nice not having to do a damn thing for the rest of the year.

I am curious, is anyone having a New Years party? It's not too early to start thinking about it.

Song of the Day: "Long, Long Way From Home" - Foreigner

I just happened to hear that song earlier today, and it seemed fitting for the way I felt when I woke up this morning.

Anyway, I'm in Lufkin, TX today and Jeff is doing the demo. Tomorrow we have on scheduled and then we have an 8 hour drive home from Texarkana.

I haven't really had too much to write home about necessarily. We've written about $100,000 in business on this trip, so it's looking like a Merry Christmas is on it's way for me.

I've been lost in Xbox 360 land this whole trip. I tried to get a PS3 while moving around Texas, but I missed getting one by one person.

Rather quickly, I'm gonna take the time to say that I'm actually scared with the direction our country is going in. Normally I don't pay too much attention, but all I know is that the Democrats want to make the country more "terrorist-friendly" by repealing acts that have helped to save thousands of lives. Illegal immigration won't be a problem anymore, because the Democrats are just going to allow anyone over here. Also, they already get half our money in taxes (41%?!? Is that really necessary? We're the ones working for it) and they want to repeal the tax cuts as well.

Nancy Pelosi and NAMBLA. That's all I've got to say. Maybe Code Pink.

I understand that either way you go, there's going to be something bad. i just think that the country decided on the worse of the two.

Some might say love it or leave it, but all I'd have to do is stay where I am. The foreign country is moving to me.

Now that I'm done making an ass of myself, I'll depart. Thanks for your time.

Song of the Day: "Main Theme (A Nightmare On Elm Street)" - Charles Bernstein

Happy Halloween everyone!!! In my personal opinion, Halloween happens to be the best holiday of the year. I've never really figured out why I've thought this, but it's the one holiday that I enjoy most.

I'd like to extend a "Thank You" to everyone that was able to make it to the party on Saturday. Without you guys, it wouldn't have been as fun as it was. If you weren't able to make it, I'm sorry, but there is always next year. And the hope for next year is to be bigger and better.

At this point in time, I'd like to wish Nix a happy birthday.

@Nix: Happy Birthday. I know it's late, but better late than never right? I'm glad you're having a good trip. Keep it going. You deserve it.

Amanda and I watched "Monster House" and "Slither" the other night. Both were actually pretty good. Monster House looked good, and Slither was funnier than I thought it would be.

Now if I could just make it through all the other movies I've got lined up to watch.

Song of the Day: "Call Me When You're Sober" - Evanesence

No, I'm not a big fan, but I do like that song. That, and it's stuck in my fucking head right now.

Anyway, I finally got the proper program to start putting videos on my PSP (again). I don't know why all the other ones didn't work. I'm just glad I finally got it done.

@Beaver: I finished a book called "Hallows Eve" by Al Sarrantonio on Wednesday, and I'm about halfway thru "Terminal" by Brian Keene (the guy that wrote "The Rising", the book you bought when we went out the other day). I also brought "Off Season" by Jack Ketchum and "Search Angel" by Mark Nykanen. I plan to finish them all before I get back from this trip.

I updated to the latest FEAR patch ealier, and I'm not so sure I did the right thing. All the other online servers haven't upgraded yet, so I can't play them. This severely limits where I can play. At least for now.

Even though I'm not into sports, I'm glad the Cards are where they are now. The only downside is that I'm definitely doing the 6:00 demo tonight so that Jeff can watch the game. Big, fat, lazy fucker.

Oh well. Until next time.

Song of the Day: "Stranger" - The Presidents of the United States of America

Greetings from Seattle. I hope all is well for you.

We had our first demo tonight. The people up here are "different". I'm not quite sure what it is, but there's something about them.

Anyway, I picked up a few movies at Wal-mart earlier, like I really needed to. I've also been playing more FEAR online, but my ping is horrible here. I've also been getting some reading done too, which is good. I've got so many books, I never thought I'd get them done.

I'm coming back the day before my party, which I suppose is a good thing. I just hope the time change doesn't fuck me up too bad once I get back.

Otherwise, that's about all I've got.

Song of the Day: "Crawling Thru Knives" - In Flames

Hello one and all. Reduced fat Cheez-its are the snack of choice this evening/morning. Not that it helps too much.

I can't seem to pull myself away from F.E.A.R. multiplayer. I know I'm not the best, but I am getting better. I can't wait for the expansion later this month.

Also, for those that don't know, I now have my new table and barstools. The stools came in earlier this afternoon. Hooray for having a fucking place to sit.

Amanda and I sat around tonight, watching a couple episodes of Bones. Than we ate a small baby's head, covered in caramel and pecans. If you want one, look at Dierbergs for Merb's Bionic Apple. They say it's an apple, but I know the difference. Don't worry Merb, your secret is safe with me. :)

Oh yeah, I guess I lied about the new layout. I didn't really find one that I liked, so I guess I'm sticking with this one until I do find one.

I'm gonna end this post here. I'm having a lot of difficulty typing here.

Song of the Day: "The Shape" - Slipknot

My posts just keep becoming more and more infrequent. I do apologize.

I think the time is drawing near for a new format. Maybe on my next post I'll have something.

Anyway, nothing too new here. Just enjoying the new lappy, playing a lot of games, and getting ready for Halloween.

Eating chips at 3:30 in the morning doesn't help me any.

Song of the Day: "Would?" - Alice In Chains

Well, I'm a bit angry with myself. I have this wonderful new laptop, and thinking to myself, "Hey, it's all new. It should be able to run most anything I put to it", I go buy an assload of games for my new friend. One of those games happened to be Quake 4.

Apparently, my system doesn't meet the standard qualifications needed to run the game. I launch the game, get a gray screen, and then get sent back to my desktop with no error message. Odd. I've patched it, I've searched the web for solutions, I've visited the Activision website mentioned in the back of the manual for help, and to no avail. So now I'm gonna have to wait to play that. Oh well, I've got tons of shit my laptop before wouldn't play, so I think I'm pretty set on games for a while.

Goddamn, I love to be distracted.

I'm also liking this new keyboard I picked up earlier today. It's a Saitek, but the keys light up blue and match all the other blue shit I've got going on in my computer room.

It was strange having so many people over earlier tonight. It wasn't bad, mind you, but I haven't had an impromptu party in what feels like such a long time that I didn't know what to do.

I feel bad, mainly because I like to have people over but I never really have anything to do. Most times we all just sit around (or stand until I get my stools) and stare blankly at each other, raise our eyebrows, ala Erich, and give a sigh.

I'm sorry I suck. :p

I head out to Peoria on Thursday and I'll be back early Saturday afternoon. Hopefully we'll be able to make a buck on this trip.

Song of the Day: "Lonely Train" - Black Stone Cherry

Quick post.

I'm out to Springfield today. I come home tomorrow night (Wednesday)

Insert one day off here.

I leave again Friday for Columbia and don't come back until Sunday. I'll be working with Jeff, Nix's closer.

Joe was here last night and brought his keyboard for me. I hope to have some playtime with it soon.

I can't wait for Halloween this year. I'm hopefully gonna have the cash to decorate like I want. That sounds gay, but fuck you. It's Halloween.
