This applies to EVERYONE: I started this thing to put down how I feel about things at a certain time. When I want to talk, but feel like I can't. It's really just that simple. If you don't like it, I'm sorry. I'm not out to make anyone feel like they're being put down. If you feel that way, there must be some truth in what I'm saying.

Song of the Day: "Nobody" - Skindred

@Prometheus: No, I don't have any "fresh" vocals. Fuck, I don't even have a decent mic. I do, however, appreciate your interest and one day once I get some stuff up and running we'll have to hook up and start "Demon Fetal Harvest". Or whatever.

Well kids, my new loops arrived today. There are so many to choose from: over 2700. Give me some time and I'll pop out something fresh for y'all.

I got some Christmas shopping done today. Hell, almost all of it. The only people left to shop for are my parents and getting the rest of Amandas stuff. Sometimes I like shopping for other people. However, I did pick up the re-release of "Downward Spiral" (NIN). I suppose I could've waited for the re-release of "Closure" on dvd, but I'm just that kind of guy. Otherwise I've been good and haven't bought myself anything.

That's a change.

Song of the Day: "Desperation" - Brainshift

We are steadily approaching the end of the year, which means Christmas is coming. I haven't even started shopping yet. I have a ton of ideas for what to get for Amanda, but everyone else on my list I'm totally clueless about.

My loops haven't arrived yet, and I'm somewhat disappointed about that. Unfortunately they won't be showing up til Wednesday, and I was hoping to have some time to play around with them before I left for Dallas.

Went to Joes last night, and in talking to him it sounds like there's some stuff he'd wanna work on musically with me. I think that could be fun, because he knows all about the computer synth and I just like to throw random shit together. I've been lucky so far that most people have liked what I've done.

Gotta go get paid today, and tonight Amanda and I are having something of a date night. We've never really had one since we've been together, and for some reason I feel I owe it to her. Tomorrow I go to the dentist and then I'm hanging with Steve. Wednesday I don't really have a plan but that's alright because I'm gonna have to pack, so I guess that's my plan. Three weeks in the wondrous state of Texas. :P

I've put together a CD of the tracks I like the best. 11 tracks for a estimated playtime of 38 minutes. Most of the tracks are short, but I like the way they turned out. The downside to what I'm doing right now is I can't get any decent vocals for what I'm doing, so without switching up the tracks to something outrageous the songs get monotonous. Growing pains; gotta love 'em.

Anyway, I'm about to book on outta here, so take it easy and until next time...

Song of the Day: "Blank" - Failure

Hello.

I hope your Thanksgiving was happy and your turkey made you tired.

And now, for a haiku:

Scott slept earlier
And now he is wide awake
Goddamn turkey day

I know the turkey made me tired, but I think it also made me sick. It could aslo have something to do with the fact that it was the only meal I had all day. At any rate, I woke up about half an hour ago. Amanda was supposed to wake me up from a nap, but I guess she changed her mind. Must've been having more fun without me.

I purchased loops for Acid. Spent about $150 on all that. I am also a member of the Acid Planet Community under the name Brainshift (duh). Uploaded a couple songs there, so we'll see how they're treated by the "outside" world.

That's about all I got pregnant dogies.

Song of the Day: "Before I Forget" - Slipknot

@Quill: I'm looking into buying more space on Geocities for my website(s). If you happen to talk to Joe, let me know what he's thinking about the BJ site. If we're gonna go that route, I'll wait.

Hello ever-faithful blogging community. Figured it's been a day or two, so maybe I should give you all something new to look at.

I went to Best Buy the other day and picked up the new Nintendo DS. I'm actually very happy with what they've done to it. It takes a bit to get used to the dual-screen play, but makes for a fun experience. The demo for Metroid: Hunters looks really good.

Things have taken a bad turn here in Washington. They started off very well, but ave gotten progressively worse. Our first night here (Thurday) was our best, Friday slowed down, and Saturday came to a complete halt in sales. Now it's not only come to no sales, but the couples aren't even showing up. It's hard to sell a product when you're not seeing any prospects.

As far as I know, Quill has purchased a huge 300 cd book for me. It only ran $10, so how could I say no?

I'm looking into buying loops for acid as well. Soundtrack production has come to something of a halt because I can't find any fresh loops with the sound we're looking for. I hope to get that underway soon.

I should be sleeping right now considering I'm sick, but I feel wired. Most likely because our flight home leaves in 24 hours. I would look forward to being home, but with Thanksgiving and having to leave again in 4 days I don't think it looks too promising.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed my wordy goodness.

Song of the Day: "Counterfeit" - Limp Bizkit

Last night was a barrel of monkeys.

Nix went to hang out with his mentor Wolf last night. I tried to write up some new tracks, but it just didn't happen.

I've been having some more odd dreams recently. Basically, they revolve around sex, drinking, and dying. I won't go into too much detail, as I've got to go to work here soon.

Speaking of, I've gotta go.

Song of the Day: "Prelude" - Slipknot

@The Question: I'm glad you liked them. Very glad.

Welcome to Washington folks. We're only here for a week, but things have already started off on a bad/hectic foot. My only hope is that with all the bouncing around we're gonna do that the trip will go by quickly.

It's dial-up time here at the hotel, so if I'm not around much you all know why.

Got a demo to do tonight. Yeah buddy.

Song of the Day: "Counting Bodies Like Sheep To The Rhythm Of The War Drum" - A Perfect Circle

Well, I wish I had something of value to tell you all.

I arrived home late Monday night. I started laundry, and I'm still doing laundry. I started cleaning my place up a bit on Monday, and I'm still cleaning.

I did have time to finish up a new track. Another Late Night.

Otherwise, I'm running on an empty tank kids.

Sorry.

One other thing:

Dream sequence 1: I'm at Hizzy's apartment and Nix and Steve are there as well. The four of us are in the same, plain-walled white room. There is one window in the room, and sitting next to it a computer desk that Hiz and I are sitting at. Steve is standing in one corner of the room and Nix is standing behind Hizzy. There is a computer on the desk which has two keyboards hooked up to it. Hizzy and I keep swivelling the screen between the two of us because we're sharing the computer. I finally notice that her screen-name is "wolffood0664". I look and Nix and ask him "What the fuck?" as I laugh. He just shrugs his shoulders.
End sequence one.

Dream sequence 2: I am at my house. Not my parents, but my own home. I'm sitting in my computer room with a couple I've sold cookware to. They have given me a copy of Doom for my computer. As we sit there and talk, I'm playing a level that I've never really played before. I've never even seen anyone play this level. I end up dying, so I return the disc to the couple and show them to the door. When I return to the living room, there is a crowd of people in my living room. Jess Stamper shows up ala Saunders in her typical high-school attire (brown leather jacket, sweatpants, and Mickey Mouse sweater) and we begin to do a play for the people in my living room. We get no more than three lines into the play before she has to go to the bathroom and has forgotten her next line, which is ironic because she gave me such a hastle about remembering mine.
End sequence 2.

It's been a while since I've had a strange dream, or an "off" one for that matter, so hopefully this will sate your hunger for odd dream sequences.
Song of the Day: "Ten Miles High" - Nine Inch Nails

@Hiz: Thank you very much for you kind words. I just might have to make a song called "Boo Bucket".

@Nix: The "Evil Questions" link has been added. You motherfuckers better go there and check it out. It's hella fun.

Good morning boys and girls. It's been a few days since I've been here, and I don't have too much to report.

I've made a few more purchases on this trip, those being movies (King Of The Ants) and video games (The Thing, Echo Night: Beyond, and Maximo). I also just purchased the Strong-Bad DVD set as well. I know, I'm a loser, but I think they're funny.

I should be excited about the fact that there are onyly two more days left in this trip, but once we land on Monday night, we have two days in town before we leave for Washington for another week. Son of a bitch, I hate this job.

I shouldn't complain too much; things have been going well on this trip. It seems like things are finally getting back to normal here. My parents flew out to Oregon to help me for the weekend, which I appreciate. With that being said, it's kinda like having your parents move into your house indefinitely. That's kind of what it's like.

I spend too much money.

Song of the Day: "Running Scared" - Brainshift

Shut the fuck up bitch, Spawn is in the place.

Nix is being a bitch. I'm being a shit. Quake III is fun.

Today went alright. I got two new games today:
Rygar - PS2
Quake III - PS2

I also picked up two new movies:
The Beyond
Frankenstein: Universal Special Edition

Yet another new song has been posted on the Meatloaf Soundtrack page. Go check it out motherfuckers.

11/04/2004

Song of the Day: "Scapegoat (Pigfuck Mix)" - Fear Factory

Come this time tomorrow, I'll be mid-flight to Oregon to a week and a half. I did enjoy my time off from work, but it's back to the grind.

For those of you that don't already know, four songs have been posted on the Night Of The Living Loaf Soundtrack Page. Check them out and let me know what you think.

The forum board has been working out pretty well too. Nice.

I went to Best Buy today and made a few purchases:

PlayStation 2 (The new smaller model for travel.)
Demon Stone - PS2
eMOTIVe - A Perfect Circle (I haven't listened to it yet, but I'll let you know.)

With Christmas quickly approaching, I need to quit buying shit for myself and start buying for other people.

11/03/2004

Song of the Day: "Supermanic Soul" - Ministry

The election is over. Normally this is the point where I would say "No more hearing aboout any of that shit for four more years", but I know better.

I've been playing less Burnout 3 and more MK: Deception recently. I've also got two tunes done for Loaf.

I'm leaving for Oregon on Friday. Goddamn, I hate the west. We're being thrown right back into the mormon pit. Just as I've almost gotten their stench off me, I've got to go back. What cruel fate is this?
