This applies to EVERYONE: I started this thing to put down how I feel about things at a certain time. When I want to talk, but feel like I can't. It's really just that simple. If you don't like it, I'm sorry. I'm not out to make anyone feel like they're being put down. If you feel that way, there must be some truth in what I'm saying.

Song of the Day: "Collaboration II" - Brainshift

I think I tweaked my vox enough to where they're audible. I'll have to burn it again and listen to it on a normal stereo.

Today is our last day of demos in Oregon. We fly back home tomorrow.

My "O" key fell off again, so now I'm sticking my pinky finger in the gap where it used to be. My lappy is now officially "ghetto".

The camera I'm bidding on has now become an out & out war. Before I wasn't gonna bid too much, but for some reason I really want that camera now. I really shouldn't because I haven't been making any money recently, but I would imagine that would have to change sometime soon.

I read 110 pages of that Cobain book last night without even realizing it. Now that I've gotten into it a bit, it's better than the first one.

I've also torn down my old message board and rebuilt it. I know Quill now runs the official board, but for some reason I felt the compulsion to open it back up again.

And I remembered to tell myself to "Fuck off and die" this morning.

Song of the Day: "Flowing" - 311

I made some slight headway tonight on the story I'm working on. Hooray for me.

This trip has been fucking horrible. Today was a waste, as we only had one demo of four that was worth a shit. We should've just taken today off too, and we practically did.

We're on to Springfield, OR. today. Maybe things will get better.

I downloaded the samples for "Only" (NIN) the other day. I might enter it into the AcidPlanet contest if I can come up with something good before the contest ends.

I've got a cramp in my stomach tonight. I haven't had a cramp in forever, and I don't know where it's coming from.

I finally have Hellraiser III coming to me, thanks to Quill.

@Quill: Thanks for looking out for that. I appreciate it very much.

I really wanna film something. I don't know why, or what, but I just wanna get out there and record. I want to learn how to edit film. I think that would be fun to do.

I've just got this bug to do a lot of things recently. Things I've wanted to do but never thought I could.

Song of the Day: "Break & Enter" - The Prodigy

Well, shit. Just when I start making progress on my cd archival, I get EAC to start working on my computer again. Now I have to wait until I get home to see if it will recognize my external drive. Dear god, I hope so. MusicMatch is making everything sound like shit.

I started reading "Love and Death" (Wallace and Halperin) tonight. It's interesting, but repeats a lot of the info found in "Who Killed Kurt Cobain?".

We only have three days left on this trip, which is good. However, we're doing 4 demos later today, one on Monday, and two on Tuesday. Hopefully we'll be able to pull something out of this trip, because it's looking like we haven't even covered expenses yet.

I'm still the lead bidder on my camera today. Someone tried to outbid me, but they can fuck themselves. Apparently, the old cameras with the night shot (or x-ray: pre 1998) can also be used in paranormal investigation. Added bonus. I was thinking it'd be creepy if the first time you turned the thing on an normally invisible face would pop up in the view-finder. What would you do? I think I'd scream like a girl at first, then leave the house.

I'm a pussy. So what?

I can't believe I've made a post every day since I've been here.

Song of the Day: "The Sanctuary" - Darling Violetta

Sorry, just watched some "Angel" here in the bathroom. I really like the title theme.

I dunno about you guys, but when my blog comes up there's a huge space at the top between the date and the post. I don't know what's wrong. Sorry.

Anyway, things picked up ever-so-slightly here tonight. Wrote some business. That's always good.

I put a bid in on e-bay for a video camera. It's a Sony CCD-TRV66. I've got an 8 day wait to see how it turns out. It's an older model, but that's okay. If I can get it cheap (which if these bastard don't raise the price on me too much) I don't have too big of a problem with that.

We've got the day off today, and Jeff and I were thinking of going to see the hotel where "The Shining" (Kubrick) was filmed. Apparently it's right here in Oregon, only a 45 minute drive away. Should prove to be interesting, taking a road trip on our road trip.

I like playing with shower caps.

Song of the Day: "Hero Of The Day" - Metallica

For some reason that song just popped into my head.

Anyway, tonight was uneventful on my end. I saw four couples and sold nothing.

@Quill: Sorry about not calling back the other night. It was a late night, and I didn't think you wanted me calling at 3 in the morning. I also found a live version of "Hi-Fivin' MF" by Local H that you might be interested in.

The only upside to this trip so far is that the soda machine on our floor was left open. (Nix, Jeff and I are in "our" room. The one you and I shared when my parents came out here.) The soda machine directly across from our room was, for whatever reason, unlocked. Needless to say, I had to take advantage of it.

Say what you will. I am a thirsty motherfucker at all times.

If you'd like to vote on my pic at Hot or Not, you can do so here. Vote at your discretion.

I got more work done on my story last night. I've been having to retreat into the bathroom once Jeff goes to bed, so as I type this I'm sitting on the cold hard tile floor. After a while my butt hurts, but I can't sleep and I don't look forward to laying there all night listening to him sleep. At least he's not bitching about how much I'm smoking in the room. It's been a lot.

I'm looking into getting a video camera. Yes Nix, I'm looking dig-8. It must be a certain kind though. I have my reasons.

Something feels different.

Song of the Day: "Get Away" - (hed) P.E.

I started (or re-started) my story last night. I couldn't sleep a wink. I don't know why, but the fact that Jeff was snoring all night didn't help. I don't quite know what direction I'm going to take with this story yet, but I already have a feeling it's going to be better than my last incantation of it.

I've been working with Acid again. For a while I completely neglected it, but I'm starting to get back into the swing of things.

I'm also reading quite voraciously. I haven't read like this since my first years in highschool. It feels good, and I'm enjoying what I'm reading.

We had another shitty night tonight. A lot of couples showed, but they forgot to bring their "quality" with them.

It looks as though the fireworks display this year won't be happening. I don't think I really feel like doing it anyway. Lord knows that may change.

I'm anxious to get to work the the Loaf project. I don't really know why, but I'm ready to go right now.

That's about all I can muster right now.

Song of the Day: "One" - Filter

I'm allergic to Oregon.

It's nice here, nowhere near the 90 degree temperatures back home, but I'm ready to get back now.

Big suprise, huh?

We're 2 hours behind here, so as it's around 6:30 there, it's only 4:30 here. I didn't get to sleep until about 4:00 am here.

@ Nix: F.&.L.I.L.A. was a good book. I'm tempted to look for some other books by Thompson. Now I really want to see the movie.

I finished "Stranger Than Fiction" last night and started "The Demonologist" (Michael Laimo). They say this guy might very well be the next Stephen King. But they say the same thing about Brian Keene ("City of the Dead"). Once I finish them both, I'll let you know.

My "O" key is still busted. It's a pain in the ass.

This is going to be a long trip.

Song of the Day: "A Little Bitter" - Alice In Chains

Welcome to Monday afternoon. In a few hours, I'll be on a plane to Portland, OR. I won't be back until the 29th.

I have finished reading "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas". I am currently reading "Stranger than Fiction" by Chuck Palanuik.

My nose is rather stuffy today. Lots of dried up snot that won't come out.

I had a dream last night that I didn't sleep and Amanda wanted me to take a pair of her underwear, just to have them.

I've lost the diligence of writing a post every day and I feel bad about it. I feel like I should have something to say, but I don't for some reason.

I posted a photo of myself on Hot or Not, for shits, and I'm 80% hotter than most men... according to about 20 votes.

I haven't archived anything recently, just to let you know.

I haven't touched my playstation in a month.

I'm somehow distracted. I haven't written anything.

Song of the Day: "Fritz's Corner" - Local H

I am now back from my long rally across Indiana. I city a day can take a lot out of you. Now I understand how a lot of rock stars feel when you get a lousy performance.

At any rate, the trip went well with what we had I suppose. It could've been a lot better, but not much worse.

Along the way, I made a few new purchases. Those being:

Hellraiser: Deader (DVD)
Seether: Karma and Effect (CD)
Atreyu: The Curse (CD)
Lacuna Coil: Comalies (CD)
Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas (Book)
City Of The Dead (Book)
The Demonologist (Book)

I also picked up a Boba Fett and Darth Vader from Burger King as well as a glow-in-the-dark Coca-Cola cup from Arbys. It's the small things that make me happy.

I've also gotten a hold of Acid 5.0, which is very nice. It's got some cool new tricks, which may very well help in music creation.

You'd think I'd have more to tell you. The life I lead is a bore.

Song of the Day: "Perfect Situation" - Weezer

Hello all, and a wonderful Monday afternoon to you.

I just realized earlier that I haven't really been posting a lot lately, and I'm sorry to devoid my faithful readers of material. So here's some new stuff for you to process.

Saturday I went over to Steve and Heathers for drinks. Beaver and Corey cam by later in the evening and fun was had by all. No one choked the Danko. It was nice. Hell, Steve and I even made a 3 am Wal-Mart run, something we haven't done in a while.

All of my credit debt has been paid off, which is very much a relief. Now it's just a matter of earning some money and putting some away for some other projects that I'd like to do; i.e - new computer, new carpet, new bathroom, possibly a new house, etc.

Amanda has got me hooked on Buffy. I never in my life thought it would happen but it has. I still prefer Angel, but episode to episode Buffy has my vote.

I got some poster frames today. It's time to make this place look like someone lives in it. However, I need to return some of them and get proper sizes. I went and merely eyeballed them, and I've never been really good at that. I did pick up a NIN poster that's pretty cool. If you go to NIN.com there's a .pdf file that was officially made into a 38"x40" poster. It's the lyrics sheet from "With Teeth", but it looks really cool. You still might even be able to find it on ebay, considering that's where I got mine. $20.00, and it's a limitied number poster too.

I watched "Team America" yesterday afternoon, and I was rather disappointed. There were two parts in the movie that I laughed to myself. Otherwise I was bored out of my mind. This film does not get a thumbs up from me.

I've been working on ripping cd's as well as making music. I've also been writing again, or trying to. I've jotted down some rough ideas, but now it's a matter of making it into something.

Otherwise, that's about all I've got this issue. Until next time...

Song of the Day: "Clean Up Before She Comes" - Nirvana

I have returned from Puerto Vallarta, and I must say it was much nicer than I thought it would've been. We stayed at The Grand Velas hotel. It was right on the beach, with every room facing the ocean. Everything at the hotel was paid for. Even the room service was 24 hours a day, which was very convenient. The weather was beautiful the whole time we were there.

There were also a lot of fun activities, such as jet-skis, a boat ride on an exact replica of the Santa Maria called The Marigilante (which sailed us to a private beach), and a karoke contest for a bottle of tequila. Amanda even came in second, winning a t-shirt.

The only thing that I didn't like was travelling into the city. Even the nicest parts of the city looked worse than some of our American slums, but you can definitely get some great buys on things.

Anyway, I'm back to "reality" now. I close on my refinancing loan tomorrow and I couldn't be more relieved. Look out debt, here I come.

I've once again gone back to the cd archival. Things are running slower than I'd like, but I suppose it's better than no progress at all.

Otherwise, nothing to terribly exciting is going on. I'll be home all the rest of this week, which is going to be nice. Hell, even Jeff wasn't ready to work and that fucker loves to work.

I am off to bed. Good night (morning).
