Whining And Complaining
This applies to EVERYONE: I started this thing to put down how I feel about things at a certain time. When I want to talk, but feel like I can't. It's really just that simple. If you don't like it, I'm sorry. I'm not out to make anyone feel like they're being put down. If you feel that way, there must be some truth in what I'm saying.

Song of the Day: "Kiddie Grinder" - Marilyn Manson
Hello. In a few hours I leave for Springfield, MO. Again. This is the third time this month I've been there, so wish me luck.
@ Nix: I'll be home late Thursday night. Maybe you should get call waiting so you don't get booted from the internet.
I beat Death, Jr. What a disappointment that was.
Something tells me this ghost hunting thing isn't going anywhere.
Neither is Loaf.
Or Brainshift.
Just some random thoughts.

Oh, my doubting friend. Loaf is moving along in ways. The Quill has actually started doing something. We're organizing and I am staring at the screen, again. Have faith, and let's entertain people with our ridiculous creation.
Nix says: It's not as easy as you think.
Nix says: It's not as easy as you think.
We can do this one of two ways:
1) We just do it. We grab the camera, film it as best we can on the fly, pay it all out of our own pockets, and do it the usual Bug-Juice Productions way. And then it looks like crap (don't get me wrong; I LOVE our shorts and films, but no one else outside of BJ would).
2) We take a long and twisted road before we even get to start filming preliminaries, going far beyond Bug-Juice, and beyond even Wicked Wildflower, has ever gone before production-wise. And it might just turn out to be half-way decent in look and feel.
I know things are slow. They'd be moving faster if movie-making was our main job and focus, but alas, we all need to do things like eat and live. Read my blog: ironic that the same day you blog-stress is the same day something is put into motion for this film. Keep the faith.

And the hunting thing. You can't just go barreling in and talking all loud, trying to piss them off. And you need at least one person who is open to suggestion.
Corey needs to take in the environment some more.
And I'm somewhat open and can feel, but probably not what you need.
The main focus is to become part of their world. Don't piss them off.
Nix says: You and me may be able to get something. Corey needs to show more restraint.

And finally: Brainshift.
This is all you. I know this is what makes you happy. I know it's frustrating. Just keep creating. That's the only thing that is going to make something happen.
I will keep my word. But you have to be ready for criticism. And right now, I think you need to just relax.
Nix says: Keep at it. Something will happen.

On the subject of Ghost Hunting:
It's pretty much the same as storm chasing - you never know if you're going to actually find something worth your time, and most of the time you'll come up with nothing. If Corey was being all loud and stuff, yeah, he needs to chill out with that. Just do it whenever you can, bro.
On the subject of Brainshift:
Like I was telling Nix, there are two roads to the career in music you're seeking: A) Go the college route or B) get lucky (as in, get hooked up with a band or company by someone you know, and have them actually call you back and work with you). However, you shouldn't be afraid to take some criticism and you shouldn't stop creating music just because it seems like you'll never score a cool million - or even a cool hundred - with it. The stuff you've done is awesome, but to take it to the level I think you're trying to get to, you need to throw yourself into it and you might also think about investing in some equipment. Go for it!
