I'm sitting here in the hellhole known as Carbondale, a college town. You'd think for a college town there'd be some shit to do, but there isn't. Think of Springfield, MO., and cut everything there down by 90%.

Yeah, it's that bad.

Business isn't anywhere near where I'd like it to be (students), and the fact that we have a competitor here (Marleen Norman) doesn't help. If you were to look up the word bitch in the dictionary there wouldn't even be a definition; it would just be a picture of her.

I'll be coming home tonight, and I'll have the day off tomorrow. So what I do then is up in the air. Otherwise, I've gotta go because couples will be showing up shortly.

I'm not normally a fan of the Resident Evil series. As a matter of fact, I've hated the series for a very long time (with the exception of two). I must say this, however: Resident Evil 4 is fucking awesome. The new direction they've taken the game in is incredible, and it's about time too.

Nix and Hiz came over last night for a little bit. Nix caught me up on some of the stuff that I missed at the Loaf "meating".

@The Loaf crew: Sorry about my non-existant ass last night. It was a late night, and I just came home and crashed.

It's amazing how many people that I know are illiterate. They can't read, they can't spell; those fuckers need to learn how to use spell check. That's what it's there for. When you try to argue a valid point in words and don't know how to spell, you lose me asshole.

I haven't been sleeping well lately (again). I don't know what it is about me. Up all night, sleep half the day away. And when I am sleeping I'm having some of the weirdest dreams. So weird in fact that they've been waking me up and keeping me up. At least the one tonight. I've been sitting here trying to take some solace in Quills words: "Dreams are just that." For some reason it's not really working tonight. I've always been of the opinion that a person's dreams mean something, whether it's a sub-concious manifestation of something you don't really think about during the day or something other trying to speak to you from another plane. Hell, it could even be what you had for dinner, but I really don't eat anything too close to bedtime.

Then again it could just be me. Lord knows I'm just as guilty as anyone else about reading into things that aren't there.

Not much is going on lately. I'm in town all this week, which is good. However, I'm working with my dad at the office in the evenings, which is better than being out of town. I need to fill my pockets anyway.

Steve, Hiz, and Nix came over last night and we watched "Without A Paddle". For what it was, it was an alright flick. It's worth a view if you've got nothing better to watch.

Other than that, it's pretty much "blah, blah, blah" as some would say.

@Quill: I'm glad to hear that you like the songs. I'm still tooling around with some things, but what you've heard isn't really what I want to do.

I went out and got a printer today (finally). It's an Epson CX4600. Scan, print, and copy. Nice for $100. Run out to Best Buy and get yours today! ;)

I also picked up Fight Club (PS2). I'll be real honest with you: This game does the movie no justice whatsoever. I was hoping that even though Brad and Ed's likenesses weren't in the game it would still be good. I was very much let down. I will still play it though... I think.

I'm so stoked about this weekend. It'll be nice to see everyone together having a good time. It's probably the last big party I'll be to the rest of the year. I've pretty much got my spare bedroom in order tonight, so we should have enough room for the table and chairs for cards.

We are gonna get so fucking drunk...
